Well . . . We did it! All of Chase and Cooper’s pumpkins have been harvested just in time before the frost! We have a lot of varieties this year including Atlantic Giants, mini-jack-o-laterns, white pumpkins, blue pumpkins, peanut pumpkins and the regular sized ones too. We want to thank all 17 kids and adults for coming out to help in the harvest. After 4 hours of picking we had a trailer full of pumpkins and we wrapped up the day with a wiener roast.
Last year we gave away every single pumpkin with a Pay It Forward Card , but this year we are doing something a little bit different. We are in the midst of planning a “Chase Kraynick Memorial Splash Park” for Canora. This FANTASTIC splash park will be built on a 3400 square foot pad, featuring 18 splash components including dumping buckets, spray cannons, ground squirters and themed spray features. All of the themed water components will reflect the things Chase loved the most: sports, farming and the great outdoors. We should have all the concept plans to share with you in one of the next few blog postings.
On Saturday September 29 we will be setting up our pumpkin stand on Main Street Canora at the King George Park (where the splash park is slated to be built) with all proceeds from the pumpkin sales going to the Town of Canora in trust for the Chase Kraynick Memorial Splash Park.

Pay It Forward!!
