We are excited to announce that the Chase Kraynick “Pay it Forward” Splash Park construction is officially underway! Things have been moving so fast and lots of activities have been happening behind the scenes up until this point. The finances are all in place, the components have been ordered and our family is so grateful for all the generosity and support shown by the local businesses, individuals and organizations that have “hopped on board” to make this HUGE project move forward so quickly. Reg Carmichael with Dynamic Construction and Kristen Gabora, Director of Leisure Services, with the Town of Canora have both been instrumental in Helping to coordinate this project and (fingers crossed and weather pending) we are shooting for a July 1st Grand Opening!
On May 8, 2013 all of the project coordinators and contractors/businesses met to discuss the plan of attack for the splash park construction. The site locates have since been marked and Ludba Construction will begin the ground work early next week! We are so excited for this project to finally begin.
Next time you see any of the following contractors, please give them a pat on the back and thank them for their generosity as they have become members of our elite “Dream Team”:
- McTavish Concrete
- Ludba Construction
- Yorkton Plumbing and Heating
- Gabora Electric
- E & H Concrete, and … drum roll please ….
- Wynonzek Bros. Construction of Canora, are the newest contractors to express an interest in the project and have generously donated their time to dig in the water lines to the park and the lines out to the sewers.
It will take a lot of team work to make this happen and we appreciate everyone who is willing to contribute to this project. Thank you to ALL of these contractors and businesses for Paying it Forward!!
