Jerry Gabora has been a certified journeyman electrician since 1975. He started Gabora Electric Ltd. in Canora in 1982 and has never looked back! Gabora Electric provides interprovincial journeyman electrician work for residential, commercial and industrial projects. They specialize in electrical repair. Jerry employs 3 full time electricians. Roxy and Kyle Roberts are full time journeyman electricians and Matt Sleeva is completing this third year apprenticeship. This summer Jerry has hired a full time summer student Brody Steciuk. This crew of hard working, community minded, and quality service workers have found a way to “Pay it Forward” for their community.
Jerry contacted us this past week indicating that they want to help out with installing the Chase Kraynick “Pay it Forward” Splash Park. He has kindly volunteered their services to complete all the projects wiring and electrical permits free of charge and have indicated that all the materials would be supplied at cost for the project! We are so grateful and excited to have them part of our project!
This means that every trade that is needed to complete the installation of the splash park has volunteered their time and expertise to make this project a reality for Canora! How AWESOME IS THAT???? This show of heart is indicative of the kind of community we live in. These folks not only care about their community but reach out to volunteer and make a difference for what matters to the people who live here! Thank you Gabora Electric from the bottom of our hearts!
